Low Income Housing Tax Credit

LIHTC is a program where Manchester Housing and Redevelopment Authority acquired money from Syndicators, New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority, Banks and/or the City of Manchester to build and/or rehabilitate property to house the homeless or at risk of being homeless to low-income elderly and disabled residents in need of services.

All apartments are provided with a project-based voucher (PBV).  Residents pay 30% of their income for rent and the PBV pays the portion of the rent the resident cannot pay

Reporting requirements:

MHRA as Managing agent for the tax credit properties must submit quarterly and annual reports to the Syndicators, New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority, Banks and/or the City of Manchester.
